How the Date Memory Vault works
Every entry is saved to your browser's localStorage — the same place sites use to remember a dark-mode preference. The vault never sends your data anywhere; there is no account, no API, no analytics on your entries.
Privacy & backups
- Data lives only in this browser, on this device.
- Use Export to download a JSON file as a backup.
- Use Import to restore a backup or move data to another device.
- Clearing browser data will erase your vault — keep regular exports.
Why a vault, not a calendar app?
Calendar apps demand sign-in, sync your data to the cloud and often feed it to advertisers. The Date Memory Vault is a deliberate opposite: zero sign-in, zero sync, instant access. Perfect for sensitive dates you don't want associated with your identity.
