How working days are counted
The calculator iterates each day in the range, skipping Saturdays and Sundays, then subtracts any holiday dates you supplied that fall on a weekday. Inclusive vs. exclusive endpoint behaviour matches what most contracts mean by "X working days from…".
Why automatic holidays are not built in
Public holidays differ between countries, states/provinces, regions, and even individual companies. Hard-coding a single national list would be wrong for most users. Pasting your own list keeps the tool accurate and durable for years.
